On our residential park, Council Tax is currently payable at Band A which is the lowest Band. Site fees can differ depending on whether you are purchasing a brand new park home or an existing pre-owned home. 

The ground rent covers all ongoing maintenance costs of the communal areas on the park, e.g. lighting, roadways, paths and vegetation, the only thing you need to maintain is your own plot.

What is the difference between a park home and a static caravan?

You might be wondering what the difference is between a park home and a static caravan.

Several things set them apart. For example, static caravans are usually about half the width of a park home, making them less spacious.

Static caravans are typically meant for holidays, with park access often restricted to the traditional holiday season. In contrast, park homes offer year-round stability.

Park homes can be fully customised to your requirements, whereas static caravans come with a set list of available features.

In short, static caravans are not designed for year-round living like park homes and are not built to the same standards.
